Which games on the 2021 schedule could the Carolina Panthers potentially be playing on primetime?

The Carolina Panthers won’t have to wait much longer before they find out the structure of their 2021 season. They already know what teams they’ll be facing throughout the campaign, but the NFL will be formally releasing the schedule on May 12 that will hopefully have plenty of fans in the stands who were sorely missed last time around die to COVID-19.

Teams across the league will be playing an additional contest next season, with an extra postseason spot also up for grabs as the league continues to tweak its format. The Panthers could be in with a shot of attaining this place if everything clicks into place right away, although the NFC is expected to be far stronger this year compared to what we saw in 2020.

Matt Rhule left a notable impression during his first season as head coach. Things could have looked even more promising had Carolina not lost an eye-watering eight games by one score.

A strong period of recruitment in free agency and the 2021 NFL Draft has the roster looking much more vibrant and athletic, which can only mean good things moving forward. Travis Reed of The Action Network ranked Carolina’s strength of schedule at No. 24, which could indicate they can make more of an impact providing there aren’t any chemistry complications following another offseason of significant player turnover.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at three Panthers games in 2021 that could be candidates for a primetime audience.
