As time progresses, it looks more and more likely that quarterback Aaron Rodgers will not play for the Green Bay Packers next season.

The relationship between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers is all but broken. It’s been rumored that the quarterback has been telling teammates and other people in the organization that he doesn’t expect to be back, which would send shockwaves across the entire league.

Rodgers, the reigning MVP of the league and former Super Bowl champion, threw for 50 touchdowns last year while leading his squad to the NFC Championship. He’s undeniably one of the best signal-callers in the NFL and there could be plenty left in the tank given his production in 2020.

The Carolina Panthers seem confident in Sam Darnold. But if they could land Rodgers, they would no doubt take the opportunity.

I have faith in Darnold as well, but he isn’t a reason to pass up trying to trade for Rodgers.

Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer has let everyone know he’ll “be in on every deal“, so I don’t expect that mindset to change, especially with a player of Rodgers’ caliber possibly becoming available.

We’ve already seen the Panthers be hyper-aggressive in trying to land Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson earlier in the offseason.

Landing Rodgers would provide Carolina with at least two to three years of stability at quarterback and would be a dream come true for fans. He would also make the Panthers an immediate playoff threat.

While the chances are slim that Rodgers will end up on the Panthers, you can’t rule out the possibility. Here are two trade offers that might tempt Green Bay into doing a deal.
