Which players on the Carolina Panthers cannot go down with an injury in 2021 if the team wants to realistically mount a postseason push?

The Carolina Panthers have plenty of reasons to be encouraged heading into the 2021 season. Some exciting additions were made to an already talented roster during free agency and the NFL Draft, which should make this a fun team to watch in the second year of Matt Rhule’s reign.

Last season could have been so much more than just another 5-11 record.

The Panthers took some of the NFL’s best teams right to the limit before faltering down the stretch. If players and coaching staff can take these harsh lessons and learn from them, things could look far different when the upcoming campaign comes to a conclusion.

Much will depend on how Sam Darnold shines in a different environment. Other young stars that displayed promise last time out need to progress accordingly to give Carolina another boost to their chances of progression.

Health is also going to play a huge factor.

Injuries are all part of the business thanks to the violent nature of the NFL, which the Panthers found out first-hand when their premier running back Christian McCaffrey missed 13 games in 2020 due to ankle, shoulder, and quad problems.

Carolina was competitive without McCaffrey more often than not, which was a surprise. But here are four Panthers players that the team cannot lose to injury next season.
