Expectations are a bit higher for the Carolina Panthers in 2021 after some exciting additions to the roster during the offseason. There young and hungry players in almost every positional group and in head coach Matt Rhule, the organization has a leader that everyone can get behind after an encouraging start to life at the next level in difficult circumstances.
Having a talented roster on paper is one thing.
But putting it all together on the gridiron is another matter entirely.
It won’t take long to find out just what to expect from the Panthers next season. They have a more structured preparation period in a bid to hit the ground running, but if they can’t make the most of some favorable games on the schedule over the first few weeks, it’ll come back to haunt them later in the campaign.
