Kyle Pitts – TE
Kyle Pitts has not played a down in the NFL yet.
But he already looks like a star in the making.
The Atlanta Falcons selected the former Florida tight end at No. 4 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, which only added to the embarrassment of riches available to quarterback Matt Ryan at the time.
This has obviously changed with Julio Jones being traded, but it might result in Pitts becoming an even bigger factor as Atlanta looks to fill the gaping void left by the two-time All-Pro.
Pitts arrives at the next level with generational talent and he might even revolutionize the position if the rookie reaches the level expected. The Carolina Panthers would have jumped at the chance at taking the prospect had he made it all the way down to No. 8, which didn’t seem likely due to the buzz he generated during the evaluation process.
However, in this hypothetical situation, Pitts would be the guy Carolina would steal from the Falcons.
The Panthers brought in Dan Arnold and Tommy Tremble to boost their options at tight end. But adding Pitts to a passing attack that also includes D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, Terrace Marshall Jr., David Moore, and Christian McCaffrey would make them virtually unstoppable.
