The Carolina Panthers might not have much chance of becoming legitimate Super Bowl contenders in 2021, but that doesn’t mean that players who recently left the organization won’t be getting their hands on a ring when the season comes to a conclusion.
This is the absolute pinnacle and something Carolina appears some way off just yet. That’s not to say the Panthers cannot make some real strides under Matt Rhule following some notable additions this offseason.
It’s been a frenzied period of activity once again in recent months, which was expected to a certain extent when Marty Hurney was fired and replaced by Scott Fitterer.
The new general manager who was instrumental behind the scenes with the Seattle Seahawks wasted no time in stamping his mark across the franchise, which leaves plenty of reasons to be encouraged regarding the team’s chances of entering the postseason picture sooner rather than later.
