This is normally the quarterback. But the Carolina Panthers have something a little different to offer that might be worth considering.
The star running back is one of the most recognizable faces in the league after enjoying a sensational start to his career. McCaffrey is the blue-chip athlete with a supermodel girlfriend who also possesses a charismatic personality that is hard not to love.
There is an underlying story where McCaffrey is concerned that adds another dimension to his potential contribution to Hard Knocks. The former first-round pick is coming off a campaign where he featured in just three games due to various injury problems, so how he returns and helps the Panthers would make for some tremendous viewing.
McCaffrey has never been afraid of the limelight. Almost every established veteran who appeared in All or Nothing is no longer with the organization, leaving the Stanford product becoming the focal point both on and off the field.

Although there are other teams worthy of being considered who are eligible, the Panthers could be the most enticing of them all and McCaffrey would undoubtedly be a focal point of the documentary if HBO eventually opted to go in this direction.
