Greg Little – Carolina Panthers OT

If there was ever a time for Greg Little to start fulfilling his potential, it is now.

The offensive lineman has endured a difficult start to life with the Carolina Panthers, failing to reach the levels expected when they selected Little in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing to have. Had the Panthers known now what they do about Little, it appears unlikely they’d make such a big commitment at that stage of the selection process.

Little has a lot to prove in a critical Year 3 in Carolina. He struggled to generate any sort of consistency during his rookie campaign and followed this up with just 134 snaps playing for a coaching staff that wasn’t around when the Ole Miss product was brought to the organization.

This leaves Little right on the brink regarding his aspirations in Carolina.

It will be an uphill battle to turn things around. But all hope is not lost just yet.

What’s vital for Little is that he takes on this challenge head-on, shows the right attitude, and makes his time on the field count during the preseason. If he can somehow manage to do this, it could see him enter the team’s plans once again.

Any slight regression in his play could all but end his time with the Panthers early. This would be one of Carolina’s biggest-ever draft busts and one that could see his future prospects thrown into real jeopardy.
