5 Panthers players who didn’t help their roster chances at OTAs

Kenny Robinson – Carolina Panthers S
There appears to be an opportunity for Kenny Robinson to get back in favor after being released and then brought back during his rookie season. The Carolina Panthers aren’t blessed with any great depth at the safety position, but judging by the team’s moves leading up to mandatory minicamp, they might already be exploring alternative options.
The Panthers brought Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in for a couple of days to see what he could potentially bring after not playing in 2020 following his release by the Chicago Bears. This isn’t exactly a glowing recommendation in Robinson’s ability to make the necessary strides.
Realistically speaking, it’s going to take a monumental effort from Robinson during camp to change perceptions.
He entered the league with some potential after standing out considerably in the XFL. But the NFL is a completely different ball game and something the former West Virginia star struggled to cope with for the most part.
The next few weeks are going to be a make-or-break situation for Robinson. Not only for his time in Carolina but also potentially for his career at the pro level.
And in truth, things could go either way for Robinson at this juncture.
