6 team legends who could help the current Panthers most in 2021

Jordan Gross – Former Carolina Panthers OT
It’s no secret that the Carolina Panthers have found life difficult replacing Jordan Gross since his retirement after the 2013 season. Unfortunately for the organization, it’s been a revolving door of players ever since and this is something that has the potential to hamper the team once again in 2021.
Carolina didn’t do much to address their need for a premier blindside protector this offseason. Cam Erving arrived in free agency, but his time in the league has been littered with inconsistencies so far and it would be a big surprise if he managed to play to the level expected.
Other options include Greg Little, Trenton Scott, and third-round pick Brady Christensen. Not exactly the greatest depth.
Just imagine what Gross would do for this Panthers team.
Simply put, he would completely transform their fortunes and give Carolina a supreme bookend presence partnering with Taylor Moton, who is now firmly cemented as one of the league’s most consistent performers at right tackle.
Gross made three Pro Bowls and has one first-team All-Pro honor to show from a glittering career with the Panthers.
He came into the league with the biggest of ceilings after a dominant college career at Utah. And boy, did he deliver on this promise.
