6 team legends who could help the current Panthers most in 2021

Moving Jeremy Chinn back to the safety position is sure to be a tremendous asset for the Carolina Panthers to call upon in 2021.
The second-round pick made an incredible impression as a rookie at outside linebacker despite having no previous experience playing the position, so there could be even more come once he returns to his preferred spot and gets a little more freedom to roam.
However, there are some concerns about not only Juston Burris alongside Chinn, but the depth overall. There doesn’t appear to be a significant amount in the way of quality behind the starting duo, even though there are high hopes for Sam Franklin with more development.
Someone like Mike Minter would change all that in an instant.
The prolific safety enjoyed a phenomenal career with the Panthers that spanned 10 seasons and 148 games, producing plenty of memorable moments that had fans on the edge of their seats.
Minter was a no-nonsense presence who had the perfect blend of hard-hitting and ability in coverage needed to make a success of his career. Although he never made a Pro Bowl, there is no disputing his credentials as one of Carolina’s best-ever at the position in their short history.
Obviously, this is all just fantasy. But it sure is fun to think about.
