Which members of the Carolina Panthers roster are facing an uphill battle in the coming weeks at training camp ahead of the 2021 season?

It’s sure to be a hot and heavy training camp for the Carolina Panthers this summer as the team looks to make the improvements needed to make a splash in 2021.

Their return to Wofford College in Spartanburg is now less than a month away, meaning that business is going to pick up regarding preparations for their Week 1 opener against the New York Jets, which is a tremendous opportunity to get their campaign off on the right foot.

The Panthers roster has plenty of exciting talent they can put to good use next season. There are some areas of concern, obviously. But things could finally be looking up for a team that hasn’t secured a winning record since 2017.

Carolina Panthers roster should benefit from a normal offseason.

This structured offseason program is something head coach Matt Rhule didn’t get to experience last summer due to COVID-19 restrictions. Carolina will also take the field for three preseason games as well as participate in scrimmages with the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens to further ready themselves for competitive action.

A busy few weeks await.

But the excitement is there for all to see.

Things will be interesting both during the remaining preparation period and the season itself. Here are five Panthers players facing an uphill battle at training camp.
