How is the Carolina Panthers depth chart shaping up from a roster standpoint ahead of a crucial training camp ahead of the 2021 season?

We are now less than a month away from the Carolina Panthers making their triumphant return to Wofford College in Spartanburg for training camp. This comes after one year away from the site due to COVID-19 safety precautions, with fans also set to see their heroes on the field with social distancing restrictions almost at an end.

The Panthers depth chart has plenty going for it and competition for places will be fierce before their Week 1 opener at Bank of America Stadium. This is only enhanced by the return of preseason games to the schedule, which is going to give those fighting for a roster spot time on the gridiron to further catch the eye.

This is a big season awaiting Matt Rhule and his team. They got a pass for their record in 2020 thanks to the magnitude of their rebuild, but owner David Tepper won’t stand for any regression given the level of talent across the board after a busy offseason period of recruitment.

There is a real sense of optimism that Carolina is finally heading in the right direction. A new sense of purpose has enveloped the organization following Scott Fitterer’s hire as general manager, but this counts for nothing if they cannot turn simply being competitive into wins pretty quickly.

Without further ado, we picked out the 53 players the Panthers might end up taking into the upcoming campaign in our pre-camp prediction.
