David Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

Losing Curtis Samuel in free agency was something that most fans accepted long before it became a reality. The wide receiver went over 1,000 all-purpose yards at just the right time before heading to the bargaining table, meaning the Carolina Panthers were never going to offer him the sort of package he received from the Washington Football Team given their fnancial predicament.

Now Samuel is no longer around, others must step up and fill the void. We’ve already spoken about the potential of Terrace Marshall Jr., but don’t be surprised if David Moore also puts up some lofty numbers throughout the campaign.

Moore arrived in free agency from the Seattle Seahawks after becoming a depedable target for Russell Wilson in recent years. The former seventh-round pick could end up being a bargain if he reaches expectations, so it’ll be interesting to see what sort of role he carves out for himself in Carolina.

The wideout is the sort of player that goes overlooked in fantasy drafts before the penny finally drops and someone picks him up off the waiver wire.

Keeping an eye on Moore during preseason games will give us a better indication of just where he stands on the Panthers’ depth chart. But he should get first dibs at the third spot on the depth chart.
