Christian McCaffrey – Carolina Panthers RB

Let’s get the obvious one out of the way.

Christian McCaffrey is the last and the only player on the Carolina Panthers to be named an All-Pro and coming back from an injury-riddled 2020 season, he has a chance to become the eighth ever to be named first-team All-Pro from the organization.

The last time we saw a fully healthy McCaffrey, he became the third player ever to go over 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in a single season. Something that came with a bumper four-year, $64 million deal with a $21 million signing bonus and $38 million guaranteed.

While being limited to just three games last year, McCaffrey still remains the focal point of the Panthers’ offense and should be expected to get the bulk of the offensive touches.

The running back position is a competitive one in the NFL, though, and with plenty of up-and-coming backs, McCaffrey will have to prove why he is still one of, if not the best in the league.

Competition like New York Giants stud Saquon Barkley returning from injury, Tennessee’s Derrick Henry, Cleveland’s Nick Chubb, and Minnesota‘s Dalvin Cook will all give McCaffrey a run for his money. So it’s basically going to come down to whether the former first-round pick can return to the form of old right from the outset.
