Which Carolina Panthers players could see their depth chart standing take a hit during training camp?

As the 2021 Carolina Panthers training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg approaches, there will be plenty of players to keep an eye on to see whether certain guys can hold down positions that aren’t fully set in stone across the roster.

The Panthers entered the offseason with a lot of question marks and new general manager Scott Fitterer addressed a lot of those. He adjusted well to his new role in a very short space of time and left a notable impression in league circles and within the team’s fanbase.

While a lot of the focus will be on new quarterback Sam Darnold and the return of Christian McCaffrey in just two weeks, there will be a lot of position battles taking place, as usual, that could be equally as important to the team’s chances of progression next season.

Whether it’s a battle for a starting position or backup spot, some of the depth decisions will be pivotal on how the Panthers perform this year with more expected in the second year under Matt Rhule.

With so many new faces entering the new year, here is a look at five Carolina players who could see their depth chart position take a hit at training camp.
