Keith Taylor Jr. – Carolina Panthers CB

Keith Taylor Jr. was drafted No. 166 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. He brings length, speed, and awareness to this already young Carolina Panthers’ cornerback room.

Taylor was another standout at the Senior Bowl. He was also coached by the Panthers staff and impressed many with his ability, especially in press coverage.

After doing well against Clemson wide receiver Cornell Powell, NFL.com Draft Analyst Daniel Jeremiah said some great things about Taylor.

"“That’s just another phenomenal job by Keith Taylor Jr. who’s having a really big-time game. It is hard to find corners that size, that can move like that. He is so fluid and to be able to find and locate and play the ball is a bonus. You don’t find 6’2″ corners that can really run and play down the field like that.”"

In his 29 games at Washington, he totaled 10 passes defended. Taylor likes to use his size match-up against bigger receivers, something the player does extremely well.

He is one of the bigger cornerbacks on the team and Taylor can help the defense in many ways with his elite size.

Taylor has shown what he can do at the Senior Bowl. But the rookie cornerback has more fuel in the tank for training camp and could earn a prominent spot on the rotation in 2021.
