Who are the best Carolina Panthers players under 25-years-old heading into the 2021 season?

The Carolina Panthers are heading into the 2021 season with plenty of dynamic young players. There has been a noticeable youth movement since Matt Rhule took over as head coach and considering the impression made last season, there are a lot of reasons to be encouraged.

What comes next is just as important, perhaps even more so. But the Panthers were aggressive during an eventful offseason of player comings and goings that could see them become a surprise package with a strong start.

They’ll be counting on their young weapons to produce the goods and show the necessary growth. Carolina also got themselves some potential steals during the 2021 NFL Draft to further bolster their chances of progression.

With this in mind, we took a look at the Panthers roster and picked out the top seven players under 25-years-old heading into the new campaign.

Yetur Gross-Matos produced some quality moments during his rookie season. This is despite the defensive end suffering from injury and a spell on the COVID-19 list which hampered his progress.

The Penn State product displayed enough explosiveness to suggest a successful NFL career can be achieved. Gross-Matos will be a prominent member of the rotation in 2021 and if he can up his numbers alongside Brian Burns and Haason Reddick, it will help an improving defense considerably.

There is a lot to like about Gross-Matos. He is fast, athletic, and strong enough to do some real damage with more in the way of talent around him on the front seven.
