Indianapolis Colts

One team that could definitely benefit from Robby Anderson’s presence is the Indianapolis Colts. Providing quarterback Carson Wentz reignites his career following his trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, this is a roster that could be set for a Super Bowl push in the not-too-distant future.

If there was one area that could need reinforcements, then it’s at the wide receiver spot.

They are currently relying on some young prospects to make the necessary improvements alongside T.Y. Hilton, who went through some problems in 2020 with far less stable distribution under center following Andrew Luck’s bombshell retirement.

The Colts have an elite offensive line, so it would be a surprise if Wentz wasn’t able to improve. Especially considering his familiarity with Frank Reich from their days on the Eagles.

Should the young wideouts fail to step up next season, then the Colts have the salary-cap space to make a move for Anderson. His ability to impact proceedings all over the field will be a hot commodity if the Carolina Panthers decide not to keep him around, which would be another massive boost to Wentz.

Indianapolis might also be in win-now mode in 2022 depending on how Wentz fares. So landing someone like Anderson could get them over the hump.
