Which newcomers to the Carolina Panthers could end up being big surprises during the 2021 season?

One of the main factors behind whether the Carolina Panthers will progress or not in 2021 is how their new recruits transition into a different environment. The organization was extremely active once again in terms of recruitment during free agency and the NFL Draft, with general manager Scott Fitterer exploring every possible avenue to put the right sort of pieces in place.

This has left the Panthers with an exciting roster that could be capable of big things when competitive action gets underway. There remain some problem areas that may cause concern, but if everything clicks into place Carolina will be a team to watch closely in the coming months.

Players will also get the benefit of a stable offseason program this summer. The return of preseason games and a full training camp is going to assist the Panthers an untold amount, who showed promise last time out in difficult circumstances.

Much more is expected next season, the second under head coach Matt Rhule.

Everything seems to be in place for the team in pursuit of a winning record, with Drew Brees and Julio Jones’ departure from the NFC South something else that could potentially work in their favor.

This is dependent on current players developing their respective games and those less familiar with the Panthers hitting the ground running. Here are five Panthers newcomers who might just surprise a few people in 2021.
