Brian Burns – Carolina Panthers DE

Brian Burns has quickly become a fan-favorite for his big personality and ‘Spiderman’ persona and pose when he makes big plays, something the Carolina Panthers saw plenty of during the 2020 season.

The upcoming campaign is expected to be a big one for Burns. He is set to become the face of the Panthers’ defense if all goes to plan after making some significant strides in pursuit of becoming an all-around defensive end.

Carolina is known for setting a high defense standard throughout its history. Burns is next in line to follow the great defensive players that have made their mark with the Panthers such as Julius Peppers, Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, and the great Sam Mills.

Burns is naturally a defensive end and has gained weight as he entered the league a bit undersized. But he’s also played linebacker during his first two years in the league.

With more linebacker depth on the roster this year, Burns should have the opportunity to fully maximize his skills on the defensive front and be the anchor of the defense.

The potential breakout season first begins at training camp and his play will be watched by everyone, making him a key guy to keep an eye on.
