Jaycee Horn – Carolina Panthers CB

The former South Carolina Gamecock was selected eighth overall by the Carolina Panthers in this year’s draft and he already has high expectations surrounding him.

Carolina’s secondary has been a mess the last few years with Donte Jackson not fully living up to his potential yet and a lack of depth. But fans will be expecting Jaycee Horn to become the top guy in this particular area of the field.

Struggles for rookie cornerbacks happen more often than not, so it’s possible Year 1 might not be what fans want to see from Horn.

But if anyone can adjust to the league quickly, it’s him.

As a son of a former NFL player, Horn has proven to have a dog mentality and been spoken highly of by players during OTAs and minicamp this offseason.

Horn will be trusted into a starting role immediately and training camp will be fans’ first time being able to see him up-close and in person. Something that is a cause for great excitement.

The athleticism and speed of Horn will be entertaining for fans at camp and just the fact that he’s new to the team makes him one of the more exciting guys to watch.
