Which Carolina Panthers players could be in the running for training camp MVP in 2021?

Training camps around the NFL are rapidly approaching and coaches, media, and fans alike will observe hours of practice and drills to determine who makes the final 53-man roster on August 31.

While there’s several players that may feel pressure to prove they belong on the team, some are trying to take the next step in their careers and that starts at camp.

Not much is expected of the Carolina Panthers from a mainstream perspective. But there’s a sense that this is a “prove it” year for this squad.

The Panthers haven’t made the postseason since 2017. If they plan to change that, this group will have to set the tone at Wofford College in Spartanburg ahead of the new campaign.

The beauty of training camp is that there is there’s just no telling who may breakout.

A player coming off an injury-riddled season, a late-round rookie trying to make the roster, or a lukewarm veteran trying to earn his next contract could all be in the running.

As the saying goes, iron sharpens iron. So this will be some welcome competition as the team strives to get better in the second year under Matt Rhule and following another busy offseason of player movement.

With this in mind, here are four players who have the potential to become Carolina’s training camp MVP in 2021.
