5 Carolina Panthers players who could join Madden 99 club in future

Jaycee Horn – Carolina Panthers CB
This is a lot to ask from a player that has yet to make a competitive appearance in the NFL. but the Carolina Panthers feel they’ve found the next great shutdown cornerback in Jaycee Horn.
The No. 8 overall selection just looks the part. Horn has the size, length, and athleticism to make a smooth transition into the professional ranks and although there might be the odd stumbling block along the way, there’s a lot to like about his chances both next season and in the future.
Horn is coming to the Panthers having enjoyed a standout college career at South Carolina, shutting down some top weapons such as Jerry Jeudy, Kyle Pitts, and Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith.
He has a certain swagger that isn’t normally associated with first-year corners. Horn has a lot of work to do in the coming weeks at training camp, with cornerbacks coach Evan Cooper putting plenty on the rookie’s shoulders during the first couple of practices.
Being compared to Jalen Ramsey – who is already in the Madden 99 club – is pressure in itself.
However, Horn has all the characteristics to relish this challenge and one day follow in the All-Pro’s footsteps en route to the same level of recognition.
