Bringing back a sense of optimism

It’s been a difficult few seasons for Carolina Panthers fans. They’ve been languishing in mediocrity for a number of years now and couple this with some popular members of the locker room retiring or moving on, it’s not hard to see why morale has become pretty low.

That could be about to change. Or at least that’s what the Panthers will be hoping for even with more on their shoulders in the coming months.

Having increased expectations is a sink or swim scenario for this roster. If they generate some early momentum with winnable games through the first six weeks, it’ll guarantee to bring about a more energized fanbase that could make all the difference at Bank of America Stadium.

Nobody likes cheering losing football. As stated previously, the Panthers haven’t had a winning record since 2017 and this is a trend that needs to halt at the earliest possible opportunity.

Perhaps a deep playoff run is a step too far. However, any sort of progress would go down well with fans.

Although the stakes are a little higher for Carolina next season, they’ll know that if they can become one of the league’s surprise packages, the positive impact on everyone associated with the franchise will be enormous.
