Tommy Tremble – Carolina Panthers TE

One of the big questions in 2021 and beyond surrounds just what the Carolina Panthers have in their third-round selection, Tommy Tremble.

Is he the complete tight end package?

Or is the rookie simply going to be a blocking force at the next level?

Only time will tell in the long run. However, there is a big chance Tremble can make his presence felt when it matters most during his first year in a professional setting.

As stated previously, the Notre Dame product is an exceptional blocker that loves nothing more than demoralizing opponents both on the line of scrimmage and when he generates momentum at the second level.

What’s less certain is Tremble’s immediate potential in the passing game. This is an area that needs some work and the Fighting Irish didn’t put much his way in terms of targets to provide any sort of confidence initially.

One thing’s for sure, Joe Brady knows how to use tight ends efficiently.

This formed a large part of his game plan at LSU during their national championship-winning season in 2019 and Tremble has some sneaky athleticism that could mean he’s a surprise some teams won’t see coming.
