Dan Arnold emerging for the Carolina Panthers

There is a growing sense of confidence in Dan Arnold having a huge year for the Carolina Panthers in 2021. The tight end has grown in stature with every passing practice and his production on Wednesday was further evidence of the unique skill set he brings to the table.

Don’t let Arnold fool you. He is a gifted athlete that has wide receiver ball skills.

Something that was there for all to see during team drills on Day 7.

Arnold is also developing nice chemistry with Sam Darnold, who might thank his lucky stars for someone like the former Arizona Cardinal in times of struggle next season. The free-agent signing has the length to get the ball at its highest point and has shown an ability to create the separation needed in the red zone throughout training camp so far.

All this is encouraging and something that the Panthers were devoid of last season in the immediate aftermath of Greg Olsen’s departure.

Couple Arnold’s arrival with the exciting attributes rookie Tommy Tremble brings to the team, it could make the tight unit a position of real strength once again next season.
