One surprise player to make the Panthers roster at every position

David Moore – Carolina Panthers OL
The offensive line remains a potential problem area for the Carolina Panthers. General manager Scott Fitterer stated that it’s a fluid situation that is being evaluated more than most, so it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world to see some additional reinforcements come in from the waiver wire once final cuts are made across the league.
If the Panthers want to take a gamble and select someone with potential, then David Moore has a chance to make it. The undrafted free agent impressed Carolina’s coaching staff at the Senior Bowl and swooped him up quickly once the final pick had been made.
They even contemplated selecting Moore at some stage on Day 3. That’s how highly the organization thinks of the Grambling State product.
Moore has been getting work with the second-unit, with Carolina opting to put their more veteran players in the starting lineup initially. This is probably the smart way to go while the rookies adjust fully, but it remains to be seen whether one of two of them can turn some pretty disappointing form around in different surroundings.
All Moore can do is perform to the level he’s capable of and alleviate concerns about his length at the next level. If he does this, then a place in the 53 might follow.
