4 key observations from practice Day 11 at Panthers training camp

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey continues to shine
Although the Carolina Panthers are taking things slowly with Christian McCaffrey, it’s clear the running back is primed to lead from the front in 2021 once again.
This will come as welcome news to everyone associated with the organization. McCaffrey made just three appearances thanks to injury last season and the Panthers won’t want the same problems emerging once again regarding their face of the franchise.
Simply put, McCaffrey has looked exceptional throughout training camp so far.
The explosiveness and burst have returned without fuss. The former first-round pick is also providing quarterback Sam Darnold with a nice security blanket when things aren’t developing as expected down the field.
It appears unlikely that McCaffrey will see much time on the field in preseason games. Carolina knows what the Stanford product can do and look set to use this time to find out how much the likes of fourth-rounder Chuba Hubbard can be relied upon when things get more serious.
McCaffrey is a key component to whatever success comes Carolina’s way in 2021. Judging by his electrifying start to training camp so far, it’s clear big things could be in the offing providing there are no further complications on the health front.
