Which Carolina Panthers players have emerged as pleasant surprises from the team’s 2021 training camp so far?

It’s been an eventful training camp for the Carolina Panthers so far. There have been some good and bad things to take from initial observations, with things set to get more competitive in the coming weeks with scrimmages planned against the Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens in the lead-up to preseason games and the regular season itself.

Matt Rhule and his staff still have big decisions to make. Certain positional groups pose some real concern and if these aren’t sorted out by the time competitive action rolls around, it’s got the scope to impact their chances.

And not in a good way.

The next few weeks will shape the season. But the Panthers can go into this period knowing the potential is definitely there for progression in 2021.

Obviously, making a deep postseason run could be stretching things a little bit at this stage of Carolina’s rebuild. However, there is nothing to suggest a winning record can be well within their capabilities if everything clicks into place right out of the gate.

Without further ado, here are five Panthers players who’ve been pleasant surprises at training camp so far.
