This comes after a solid portion of training camp and sees some surprises, although it’s worth remembering that nothing is set in stone at this stage of the preparation period.

That being said, it gives everyone associated with the Panthers an opportunity to pick apart who might be winning their position battles en route to a roster spot. Obviously, there is plenty of time to alter the coaching staff’s perceptions both for the remainder of Carolina’s camp and in the three upcoming preseason games that begin this Sunday at the Indianapolis Colts.
