The hype is building where Terrace Marshall Jr. is concerned. This was only enhanced by a standout showing during the two joint practices with the Indianapolis Colts, which raised expectations even further ahead of the second-round pick’s first taste of an NFL field on Sunday.

One thing that really comes across when you see Marshall in the flesh is his size, according to those in attendance throughout Carolina Panthers training camp. The LSU product is a physically imposing individual that has all the attributes needed to become an NFL star in no time at all.

Carolina struck gold when Marshall fell into their laps at No. 59 overall. He had his way with the Colts cornerbacks throughout drills and scrimmages more often than not, demonstrating his ball skills and explosiveness that should assist new quarterback Sam Darnold considerably.

There is a real sense of excitement regarding Marshall, who played second fiddle to the likes of Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase with the Tigers before coming into his own last time around.

He appears to be in pole position in pursuit of winning the third position on the depth chart over David Moore, with his ability getting open quickly from the slot something that should make an immediate impression both across the middle and in the red zone.

All eyes will be on Marshall for the remainder of the offseason. But things couldn’t have gone much better for the wideout this summer.
