4 replacements if the Carolina Panthers let Donte Jackson walk in 2022

Marshon Lattimore – New Orleans Saints
If all the options on this list, it’s the most unrealistic.
But that doesn’t mean it’s not possible.
Marshon Lattimore and the New Orleans Saints have yet to agree on a long-term extension heading into the final season of his deal. The organization has now emerged from some serious salary-cap complications this spring, but they appear willing to ride things out with the former first-round pick and see where things stand a little later down the road.
Things did not go according to plan for the Ohio State product in 2020. It was his worst season from a performance standpoint so far, which might be a reason behind the Saints not offering the cornerback a deal he feels is acceptable as yet.
There is still plenty of time for Lattimore to turn things around. He certainly has the talent to do so.
The Carolina Panthers should be monitoring this situation closely. Even though the financial implications between Lattimore and Donte Jackson regarding their next contracts appear similar heading into the campaign.
Only time will tell as to which way this is going to go. Jackson is loved by the team’s fanbase, but judging by the current regime’s moves over the last two years, that counts for absolutely nothing.
