Can Tommy Tremble become the complete package?

There is a growing sense of intrigue surrounding Tommy Tremble and his potential impact both as a rookie and in the years to come. The third-round pick is a physical specimen that already possesses NFL-ready blocking ability, so if his ball skills come on the Carolina Panthers might just have the total package on their hands.

It’s hard not to love the way Tremble approaches his business on the field. There is reckless abandon and ruthless aggression in equal measure, something that’s going to make the Notre Dame product a real fan favorite right from the outset.

The Panthers obviously have some high hopes for Tremble. He’ll be tasked with occupying the H-back role during his first campaign in the pros, with the potential for some targets not entirely out of the question if he shows enough in preseason games.

Tremble might be seen as a development project to a certain extent.

However, the difference between him and others with this tag is that he’ll also be making a big contribution opening up lanes and protecting the quarterback en route to possibly becoming a prominent weapon in the passing game moving forward.

Nobody will be giving anymore effort than Tremble. But that doesn’t always cut it at the next level.
