5 individual battles to watch during Panthers scrimmages vs. Ravens

Robby Anderson vs. Marlon Humphrey
There has been plenty to like about the way Robby Anderson has applied himself this offseason. Skipping voluntary OTAs had everyone in a semi-panic – especially as almost every other player showed up – but the veteran is clearly in shape ahead of a big campaign for the wide receiver.
Anderson is looking to put some significant dollars on his demands in the coming months on the final year of his deal with the Carolina Panthers. He took to new surroundings incredibly well in 2020, going over 1,000 yards for the first time and proving to be a real force all over the field for good measure.
The former New York Jet will be firmly tested throughout the week against the Baltimore Ravens, who boast one of the better cornerback tandems anywhere in the league.
Marlon Humphrey is their alpha and a rising star. His production last season earned a 76.1 grade from Pro Football Focus and enough to suggest more is on the way as the Alabama product enters his fifth year in a professional environment.
Anderson has the ability to cause complications for any corner he lines up against. But this will be an intriguing battle to watch throughout the week whenever the wideout is paired with Humphrey.
Not only this, but Anderson and D.J. Moore against Humphrey and Marcus Peters in preseason Week 2 is another mouth=watering proposition.
