5 Carolina Panthers players who could be full-time starters by 2022

Brady Christensen – Carolina Panthers OL
In truth, this might happen sooner than the 2022 season considering how uncertain the current situation is on the offensive line. The Carolina Panthers look set to go with two veterans at the guard positions alongside Matt Paradis, but whether Pat Elflein and John Miller can provide enough stability is highly debatable.
If things don’t start well for the duo, then expect Brady Christensen to come in at some stage. The third-round pick was an exceptional blindside protector at BYU, although arm length concerns seem to be coming with a switch to the interior at the next level.
Christensen’s athleticism should ensure this transition doesn’t become much of a problem. The Panthers haven’t put too much pressure on the rookie’s shoulders throughout training camp, opting to go with the slow burner approach until the player is fully acclimatized to a professional environment.
Protection for Sam Darnold remains the biggest problem outside of the quarterback himself. If this new-look group doesn’t produce the goods, the calls for Christensen and perhaps even Deonte Brown will be deafening.
Christensen has all the talent in the world judging by his level of consistency last season. The competition difficulty will take a substantial leap, but it would be a big surprise if he wasn’t a confirmed starter by 2022.
