5 unsung heroes from the Carolina Panthers second preseason game

Brady Christensen – Carolina Panthers OL
After being allowed to integrate slowly into the system throughout the offseason, Brady Christensen is coming into his own at just the right time. The third-round pick is generating some buzz after two solid performances in warmups, leaving many to suspect the BYU product may have a big part to play when the real action begins.
Just where Christensen is best suited remains a mystery. He’s been getting reps at right tackle and on the interior over the course of camp and the preseason, even though the Carolina Panthers appear reluctant to try out the player on the blindside – a position where he starred in college.
It wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world to give Christensen some time at left tackle against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The arm length concerns surrounding the player are well documented. But rather see this now than during the regular season when things matter more.
Either way, Christensen has the athleticism to make a difference somewhere down the line thanks to his eye-catching athleticism that stood out considerably.
Carolina seems intent on going with veteran pieces who haven’t reached their ceiling to start the campaign. But the rookie is waiting in the wings in case things don’t pan out in a positive fashion.
