Panthers Game Today: Panthers vs Steelers injury report, schedule, live stream, TV channel and betting preview for preseason Week 3 NFL game.
The time has finally arrived for the Carolina Panthers to showcase their starters during their preseason finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Matt Rhule gave them just one series last weekend versus the Baltimore Ravens, but the head coach is going to get his first-team out on the field for up to one full half on Friday evening.
This will be against a Steelers squad that’s gone the other way and chosen to rest their starting players. Dwayne Haskins will assume command under center against the team that took a look at him earlier in the offseason without offering the former Ohio State star a deal.
All eyes will be on Sam Darnold for the contest. The signal-caller is looking to stake a claim as a reliable starter following his trade from the New York Jets and this will be a fantastic chance to start on the front foot.
Carolina‘s defense is also looking to leave their mark on Haskins and a suspect offensive line that lost plenty of veteran pieces this offseason.

Christian McCaffrey Update
Christian McCaffrey is unlikely to take his place in the lineup despite being fit and ready to go. Matt Rhule wants to keep his star player fresh and out of the firing line to avoid any unnecessary complications – and rightfully so – before the season gets underway.
