With the final preseason game now in the books, which players will be taken through onto the 53-man roster by the Carolina Panthers in 2021?

We are now just a few short days away from the Carolina Panthers making some big decisions ahead of naming their 53-man roster. Of course, they’ll probably be more movement to come when a certain individual on the waiver wire becomes available, so it’s going to be an interesting week ahead before preparations ramp up before their opening regular-season contest against the New York Jets.

It certainly hasn’t been dull where the Panthers are concerned. But the time for speculation is thankfully almost at an end as a welcome return to competitive action looms large.

Plenty of players staked their claim throughout training camp and the three preseason games. A couple of roster members were even shipped off ahead of time when it was clear they couldn’t be relied upon.

This is never a nice period for the primary decision-makers. The NFL is a cutthroat business at the best of times, so there will be plenty of players nervously awaiting their fate in the coming days.

They cannot do any more now.

Carolina’s seen their best and how each individual might be able to help the team in 2021 and possibly beyond.  What outcomes the likes of Scott Fitterer and Matt Rhule make could have some huge ramifications on the organization’s bid to potentially attain a winning record if everything clicks into place.

With this in mind, here is our final 53-man roster projection for the 2021 season.
