5 unsung heroes from the Carolina Panthers preseason finale

Tommy Tremble – Carolina Panthers TE
Although others on the offense generated more headlines, it was another solid performance from rookie tight end Tommy Tremble. The Carolina Panthers appear to have something in the third-round pick, who was seen as an NFL-ready blocker that needed refinement in the passing game coming out of Notre Dame.
Tremble seems to be bringing on his ball skills at a rapid rate. He showed flashes of what he could potentially bring moving forward during the preseason, which concluded with a two-reception, 45-yard contribution on Friday night.
This is yet another strong indicator of Tremble’s physical attributes. If the player continues to develop his craft when the regular season begins, then Carolina could have the complete tight end on their hands when it’s all said and done.
Dan Arnold’s arrival in free agency takes the pressure off Tremble in the short term. But the Panthers are clearly going to make him a big part of their game plan judging by his influence in warmup games.
The 2021 draft class overall has really hit the ground running. Tremble was one of the more coveted by the Panthers and given his production this offseason, it’s not hard to see why.
