Could there be a potential reunion in the offing between the Carolina Panthers and their former quarterback Cam Newton?

Cam Newton‘s time with the Carolina Panthers ended poorly. However, the organization now has a chance to remedy this with the quarterback now on the market and unlikely to receive any starting offers.

Newton coming back to Carolina seems unlikely. But it is a move the Panthers should consider at the very least.

While Sam Darnold is the starting quarterback, bringing Newton back still has value. Not only can he be used as a gadget player, but he could also provide the Panthers with a starting option if the former USC star were to struggle.

Here are four obvious pros and cons to bringing back the former Panthers starting quarterback.
