Christian Harris -LB (Alabama)

Replacing a franchise player like Luke Kuechly isn’t just hard, it is impossible. The Carolina Panthers struggled to find even close to the production that the perennial All-Pro brought to the second level and paid the price as a result in 2020.

Kuechly’s elite motor and bone-shaking hits were what made him great and at the same time what made him decide to step away from the game early.

Someone like Christian Harris might be the long-term answer if Jermaine Carter doesn’t work out or leaves in free agency. The talented prospect has that same motor and ferocity that flashed on the screen last season for Alabama.

Though in all fairness if you play for a head coach like Nick Saban, you’re going to have both these traits.

The Crimson Tide have a great ability to get their players ready for the next level and Harris isn’t going to be an exception. He will step in and be a good player right from the outset for whoever is lucky enough to draft the dominant linebacker.

Of this list, Harris is the best fit in Carolina based on need and talent level.

Though it is hard to project draft stock before the season begins, Harris appears likely to be drafted in the mid-first round. This gives the Panthers a great shot at landing him if they should choose.

Harris is a player who is going to be very good in this league and would fit perfectly with the Panthers.
