It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the Carolina Panthers have a dominant defensive line on their hands in 2021. This is a unit that appears destined for greatness next season and providing everyone stays healthy, they should be the springboard behind bigger and better things in the coming months.

This group is led by Brian Burns, a defensive end with the world at his feet. The former first-round pick made some outstanding strides in his sophomore year and although the Florida State product is no longer a surprise, there is nothing to suggest a Pro Bowl-caliber campaign isn’t out of the question.

Much is also expected of free-agent signing Haason Reddick, who’ll switch between outside linebacker and the defensive front. The free-agent signing from the Arizona Cardinals notched 12.5 sacks in 2020 and reuniting with his former college coach Matt Rhule could bring about even more production moving forward.

Derrick Brown is another primed for a massive leap forward. The Auburn product made a lasting impression as a rookie and his partnership with DaQuan Jones could solidify the interior in no uncertain terms.

With the likes of Yetur Gross-Matos, Morgan Fox, Daviyon Nixon, Bravvion Roy, and Marquis Haynes set to play their part, the sky is the limit for the defensive line.
