Which incoming college recruits could the Carolina Panthers get their hands on during the 2022 NFL Draft?

The Carolina Panthers are gearing up for what is sure to be yet another eventful season for the organization. Matt Rhule and his staff have now come to a formal conclusion on their 53-man roster after another high-tempo training camp, which will hopefully stand the team in good stead as they go in search of major improvements in 2021.

Although the Panthers will be focusing on making a bigger splash with their current options, there are already scouts and front office personnel turning their attention to the next batch of college recruits in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Scouting forms a key component of any process in the coming months. Something new general manager Scott Fitterer is fully aware of having thrived as a director of college scouting during his time with the Seattle Seahawks.

Fitterer’s first draft earlier this year was a memorable one. Carolina traded up and down the board an unprecedented amount over the three-day period, giving them 11 selections and even getting a fourth-rounder from the Houston Texans to use next year.

Just where they’ll be picking is still undetermined, obviously. But this represents another solid opportunity to get some intriguing pieces in place despite not having a second-round selection to call upon following the Sam Darnold trade.

For argument’s sake, our first 2022 NFL mock draft has the Panthers slotted at No. 13. This is in accordance with a 9-8 record.

But which players could they end up selecting?
