Carolina Panthers at Miami Dolphins – Week 12
The Miami Dolphins are going to be a very good team that is still searching for their franchise quarterback. Tua Tagovailoa is serviceable as a starter but as the organization might find out this season, he isn’t a top-15 signal-caller capable of leading this team to playoff success.
After this season, expect Miami to explore some quarterback upgrades.
Still, I have too much respect for head coach Brian Flores not to expect this team to be a very tough out every week regardless of who they are playing. Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they won’t have Ryan Fitzpatrick to insert this season when Tagovailoa is struggling to lead the offense.
Sam Darnold is going to be the difference-maker in this game with two very evenly matched teams.
Darnold is going to have a big game after struggling in back-to-back weeks against the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Football Team at just the right time before the team’s bye week.
As good as the Dolphins will be, the Panthers are just a bit more talented offensively and in a crucial wildcard chase game, Carolina is projected to put the Dolphins away late with a Darnold game-winning touchdown toss.
