Carolina Panthers at New York Giants – Week 7

The New York Giants aren’t going to win their division and are primed to take a step back this season. The Washington Football Team and Dallas Cowboys both got better while Big Blue failed to improve at any position of note.

Their offseason moves were offset by their losses and Daniel Jones remains their starting quarterback. A fact that will keep them from being real contenders as long as he’s lining up under center.

In the biggest moments, Jones is a liability as talented as he is.

Whether it is a fumble or an interception he gives the ball away with an alarming frequency.

After this season the Jones experiment in New York will be over and the Giants will be in the market for a quarterback.

With this in mind, winning against New York in Week 7 is yet another key matchup for the Carolina Panthers as they are about to find life much tougher.

Winning in New York isn’t going to be easy despite the Giants taking a step back. This game is going to be a very tough matchup. One the Panthers will win on the strength of big games from Sam Darnold and D.J. Moore.

Carolina’s playoff hopes will come to a season-high at this stage with a projected 6-1 record following another impressive road win.

Prediction: Carolina Panthers 31 New York Giants 24 (6-1)
