5 shining stars from the Carolina Panthers 2021 offseason

Terrace Marshall Jr. – Carolina Panthers WR
The future is bright for Terrace Marshall Jr. And nobody is set to benefit more than the Carolina Panthers.
Taking the wide receiver at No. 59 overall already looks to be a nice bit of business by the Panthers. Marshall was used sparingly during the early offseason program to give him additional recovery time due to injury, which was another solid call to make judging by his efforts throughout training camp.
Marshall offers something a little bit different from what Carolina already has in the passing game. The LSU product is a physically imposing individual who creates separation quickly, which will be of significant use both over intermediate routes and in red-zone situations.
The Panthers have plenty of mouths to feed in the passing game. But it would be a big shock if Marshall didn’t make a lasting impression as a rookie.
His production at camp and during his preseason involvement almost certainly dictates this notion. Even though Matt Rhule described Marshall as a “rotational starter” following his standout showing at the Indianapolis Colts.
Making the most of competitive targets is only going to improve Marshall’s stock. When it’s all said and done, the Panthers might have themselves a real star.
