5 shining stars from the Carolina Panthers 2021 offseason

Dan Arnold – Carolina Panthers TE
The signing of Dan Arnold went somewhat under the radar compared to others. However, there could be a huge role for the tight end to play in 2021.
Arnold fitted in seamlessly following his arrival from the Arizona Cardinals. Being around Joe Brady on the New Orleans Saints played a big role in this, which will hopefully transition to some notable highlights from the player when competitive action begins.
Getting production from the tight end position in the immediate aftermath of Greg Olsen’s departure was a task too steep for the Carolina Panthers last season. The front office didn’t sit around and wait to see if Ian Thomas could turn things around, with Arnold’s ability in the red zone and over the middle something that might reap instant rewards.
The player seems to be on the same page with quarterback Sam Darnold, which is a solid foundation from which to build.
Expect the signal-caller to utilize him heavily when things aren’t developing as expected elsewhere on the field. A solid security blanket to call upon that should be mutually beneficial as the campaign progresses.
This is Arnold’s big chance to prove he can become a No. 1 option at the position. His energy and ability to lead have come across positively this offseason, which only raises hopes of a solid 2021 campaign.
