6 Panthers players entering 2021 season with genuine superstar potential

Terrace Marshall Jr. – Carolina Panthers WR
From a skill standpoint, Terrace Marshall Jr. seems to have everything. The wide receiver is physically imposing with the athleticism and playmaking ability to match, with his production during the preseason leaving many predicting a breakout campaign right out of the gate for the second-round pick.
There are plenty of mouths for Sam Darnold to feed in the passing game. D.J. Moore, Robby Anderson, David Moore, and even Christian McCaffrey could secure more targets, but Marshall has staked a claim for a key role in Joe Brady’s scheme in recent weeks.
Marshall’s physicality is something else that’s really stood out in the warmup games. His strength allows him to create separation quickly, which is sure to make him a solid asset all over the field and especially in the red zone.
It was a gradual transition to this point for Marshall. The Carolina Panthers took their time with the LSU product during their early offseason program as he worked his way back from injury, which was the right call to make judging by what we’ve seen from him since the start of training camp.
Rookie receivers tend to transition better than most positional groups. So expect Marshall to make a serious name for himself in 2021 and beyond providing he stays injury-free.
