Carolina Panthers: 5 bold predictions vs Jets in Week 1

Carolina Panthers Week 1 bold prediction No. 5: Panthers win by double-digits
It’s opening weekend in the NFL and stadiums will be open to full capacity for the first time since the 2019 season. Bank of America Stadium will be electric. Panthers fans are anxious for a contender and in the first week of the season, everyone is a contender.
The Jets had the second pick in the draft for a reason. Couple that with a brand new head coach, Robert Salah. New York has several problem areas. Don’t get me wrong, Carolina isn’t the hottest one at the party by any means.
But, if you look at this year’s team in comparison to last year, the Panthers are headed in the right direction.
Joe Brady will design plays to put Sam Darnold in the best possible scenarios for success and Phil Snow will dial-up enough pressure to rattle the first-year Jets quarterback. The Panthers fans will be amped up from the opening kickoff and should add another layer of advantage for the Panthers as they leave Sunday with a 33-17 win against the Jets.
